Rachel Corrie ... or... George Khoury?

by moshedubman 24. March 2010 18:25

Every Israel-Palestine expert-wannabe heard about Rachel Corrie. She has several memorial sites. Several big facebook groups. A huge wikipedia page. A movie has been produced about her. and so on.

But I wonder, has anyone heard of George Elias Khoury?

I remember that sad case. George Khoury was an Israeli (Christian) Arab, a law student at HUJI (Hebrew University Jerusalem). A peace activist (or, a real peace activist and not just a cover name for Israel-hater, i.e. Rachel Corrie), who dedicated a lot of his time to help Palestinians who are in need, spoke in conventions to stop the killing on both sides, travelled abroad to raise money for Palestinians who are in need, and did a lot to bring the sides together.

He died in 2004 in a shoot out ambush by terrorists of the PLO. On the same day when he was gunned down, his car was full of medication that he gathered, ready to be transfered the next day to Hebron (Palestinian city). After his death, Arafat personally addressed his family and announced that he will be an official "martyr for the Palestinian cause", an offer which his noble - unique - family rejected. I remember that his father, Elias, said something like: "I don't want my son's memory to have anything to do with these murderers" (quote not exact, 6 years have passed). Also after the event I remember he said on the Israeli radio: "The Israeli occupation is just as barbaric as the Palestinian terrorism". His father Elias is a very unique personality and is relatively known in Israel.

George Khouri's grandfather (Elias' father) was also killed by a "terrorist blooper". He was one of 15 civilians killed in an attack of Palestinian terrorists, in 1975. The perpetrator of that attack, Abu-Suker (Ahmed Jabarrah) was released in "good-faith" gestures to Arafat in 2003. Arafat accepted him with festivity and parade (the common ceremony in the whole Arab world, from Libya to Doha, when murderers are released), and called him: "a Palestinian hero" (bat'l falistini).

Geroge and Rachel died roughly at the same age. George Khoury was a peace activist who spent his time in the Palestinian Territories and in Israel. Rachel Corrie was an extreme "liberal" who did not have a single Israeli friend and despised Israel out of the anti-western ideology (what still doesn't prevent the Israel haters to call her new hijacked term "peace activist"). According to her Wiki article, she even claimed once that the Palestinian resistance reminds her of Ghandis peaceful movement to free India from the British colonialization....

So here we have the absurd:

Hippie delusional and pathetic Rachel Corrie who died in an accident trying to stop a massive bulldozer was promoted after her death to a symbol, almost a goddess. Her exact name "rachel corrie" appears 500,000 times on the web, whereas George Khoury was totally forgotten - there is almost NOTHING about him on the web (maybe... 7 pages?)

How how come we have this absurd? Was Rachel Corrie's personality 100,000 times more impressive, meaningful, and important that Khoury's? Clearly not. That's the good old hypocrisy of the "human rights" warriors:

His death exposes the real face of the "resistance" - murderous hatred-filled terrorists who shoot at random to kill. Speaking about such incidents is a taboo. Murderers are praised in the popular Palestinian culture (and in the extreme "liberal" west), their victims are forgotten.

If George Khoury would have inadvertly died in an IDF operation, rest assured that all "middle east experts" would have surely heard of him by now and didn't need my useless-facts-memory.

Somali Islamist breaks into danish caricaturist's home with an axe

by moshedubman 2. January 2010 19:19

Al-Qaeda-Linked Man Shot by Police in Home of Danish Cartoonist

Clearly, an important factor contributing the motivation of the Islamist murderers is the certainty, that the Muslim world will hail praise and embrace them as cultural heros. This is not the first case already LOL. you have to love the penguin close to the end of the video.

I can't think of something more pathetic than muslims, of all people, who get insulted by cartoons. Especially considering the arab cartoons on Israel over the years....

And check out the response from the coolest country on earth on the Danish caricature affair: Israeli antisemitic caricature contest, All participants. The difference between culture A and culture B is clear...

And, in honor of the Somali hero,

Dr. Salah Sultan, the jews, the Gharqad (Boxthorn) Tree, and the US national security..

by moshedubman 12. November 2009 21:11

Since January 2005, Dr. Sallah Sultan is the President of the American Center for Islamic Research in Columbus, Ohio.

On May 17, 2006, during an interview on the Al-Risala TV station he claimed that the 9/11 terror attack was mastermind by the US to "allow the US the control and terrorize the entire world":

The Al-Risala (literally: "the message") TV station is a Saudi-funded station broadcasting from Egypt whose mission is "to present true Islam", as said by founder and sponsor of the station, billionaire Saudi prince Alwalid bin Talal, upon launch, on March 2006.

As a "true muslim", Dr. Salah sultan expresses a lot of "love" to the jewish nation, as was explained by muslims many time before ;). Salah says: (1':00'')

"Allah foretold, via his prophet Muhammad, that judgement day will not come before the jew and the muslim fight. The jew will hide behind stones and tress, and the stone and the tree will speak, saying: Oh' Muslim!, there is a jew behind me, come and kill him. The only exception will be the gharqad tree".

Well.. ok... these are actually not Dr. Salah's own words, but this is what is written in the Hadith (Sahih Muslim, Book 041, Number 6985), the 2nd most important book in (sunnah) Islam after the quran.

The Gharqad tree is called Boxthorn in English. It is actually more like a high Bush than a tree. It is a typical tree to the middle eastern desert regions. Muslims call it "the tree of the jews", a pretty sick thing for itself, because of the belief that jews will hide behind it when the Muslims come to kill them before judgement day.

Of all trees, why the Boxthorn tree? simple. As with many other things in Islam, a religion that is obsessed with the jews and judaism, the Boxthorn is mentioned once in the jewish texts (Book of Judges): Somebody is compared with the Boxthorn tree by other guy to express insult. So what could be more suitable for "the tree of the jews" than the insulting Boxthorn tree.

Recently, Muslims scholars managed to show, that the "yahood" (the jews), has already started a massive national project to plant a lot of Boxthorn tree all over Palestine. The research was published on Hamas TV:
.

Problem is, the Boxthorn tree is a desert tree and can not survive in the high humidity in Tel-Aviv, and you will not find even a single one in Tel-Aviv.....

Dr. Sultan's Website

Read it, It's official, and all around crazy!
I went to his biography and looked for how we got his academic degrees. To my not so big surprise, these degrees were given in fields where ... you know.. lets say its not exactly quantum electromagnetics or anything or that kind that actually requires a brain equipped with a strong thinking skills... In the biography section of his website, under "Education": ;)

Cairo university:
Honors Bachelors Arabic & Islamic Sciences 1981
Distinction Masters in Islamic Jurisprudence 1987
Distinction Ph.D. in Islamic Jurisprudence 1992
and presently:
Columbus State Community Collage

(yes, "collage", like "cottage" ).

Not only that this person is allowed to set foot in the U.S., he is also a permanent American resident, but worst of all: He is a teacher and educator.

Democracies are so fragile and can be so easily abused in the name of "freedom of religion" "freedom of speech" and "equality".

For more on our dear friend, a truthful and respectful member of the religion of peace, Dr. Salah Sultan:

Women in Saudi Arabia and Driving.

by moshedubman 12. September 2009 21:56

Here is a chat I had with a Muslim guy today in a webmaster forum. This is just hilarious.

Me: In SA women are not allowed to drive.

Him: In SA women are not allowed to drive because of the traffic there... SA has a really fast traffic, on a main road the LEAST driving speed is 70kmh / 45mph (yes u are given a ticket if you driver slower), while average speed is 100kmh / 60mph - 120kmh / 75mph. Allowing women to drive would be making driving worse. Tho women are allowed to drive inside private residential compounds out of the city streets.

Me: ....................oh...ehhmm.... I see.... ehhhm.... errrr..... how dare I think that they can not drive because they are inferior? they are just too short to hit the gas! man. awsome. p.s. in Israel the minimum speed is also 70Km/h on the highway, and women can handle it very well. My wife drives faster than myself. Speaking with voices from the bronze age is so nice.

Him: Only speed is not an issue. SA also has quite a high crash rate... try Youtubing saudi drifts, that is what crazy saudis do on highways, and also youtube saudi car skating... And there are more issues...Besides, women don't really have to drive even if allowed. You wanna go somewhere? you get a taxi anywhere u stand, and they're cheap too...

Me: so you should ban the men from driving and allow only women to drive. the crash rate will fall to almost zero. At least in Israel, 85% of the killers on the road are men (2008 statistic). How primitive can you be? I really hope you're joking. especially with the taxi....

Does Science Prove Religion? Do They Fit?

by moshedubman 8. September 2009 11:47

So, whats the answer to the big question, does science prove religion? The answer is simple and clear: Science doesn't prove religion. Science and Religion are totally unrelated. So they were, are, and will continue to be. And Here's why:

Consider this: if religion and science "proved each other" or were complementary in any sense, this gap would never occur. Instead, science should have developed immediately, naturally, and hand in hand with or near the emergence of religion. If science did prove religion, the church would not have promoted ideas already after scientifically proven to be wrong (i.e. earth is flat and many more). Science was not invented to prove god. 93% of the U.S. Scientists do not believe in god (everywhere else on the globe, its more than 93%).

If science and religion were to agree complement and "proved each other", the greatest discoverers, scientists, and inventors of all times would have been archbishops Priests and Popes. This is for two obvious reasons: (1) Don't these guys love to find "proof" for their beliefs? (2) They didn't have to work to feed their children. But oh-no, those who do not follow the right path, the "infidels", the unbelievers, they were the greatest scientists, and were also persecuted for that reason. But Religion did not resist the progress of science only by imprisonating thinkers, but mainly and most importantly by educating the crowds NOT TO THINK. Why would a person have to think and explore if every 4th grader already knowns the answers to all of the universe' most puzzling mysteries?

In the atheist world, raising these kind of questions like the gap one above, is what parallel to the theists' "prayers". This is how we worship or god, the god of knowledge logic and sense: WE ASK QUESTIONS. we have an urge to attack every "fact" from all possible aspects, and maintain it only if it keeps standing. For theists, attacking old truths is a taboo, a bad behaviour, instead of an honorable, intellectual, and important virtue as atheists see it.

Science and god are unrelated things and do not co-exist in a way in which they can interact. God exists in the minds of the people, science exists in the physical world. Using science in an attempt to prove/support (and also disprove) the existence god is nothing but abusing science, is simply a foolish thing to say.

Why I think Islam is violent?

by moshedubman 26. August 2009 12:03

People tell me "you should read the quran before you judge it". Ok. So I tried, opened it in the first page.

This is how the Quran starts (Surah 1): (The "book of genesis" of the Quran)

  • [1:1] In the name of GOD, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
  • [1:2] Praise be to GOD, Lord of the universe.
  • [1:3] Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
  • [1:4] Master of the Day of Judgment.
  • [1:5] You alone we worship; You alone we ask for help.
  • [1:6] Guide us in the right path:
  • [1:7] the path of those whom You blessed; not of those who have deserved wrath, nor of the strayers.

Very nice indeed. A good start. Praise the GOD. Guide us. Most merficul. Cool, Makes sense. Lovely religion so far.
But Then, Here is the 2nd thing the quran says (Surah 2) (or, the first thing the quran say after mentioning the existence of god):

  • [2:1] A.L.M.
  • [2:2] This scripture is infallible; a beacon for the righteous;
  • [2:3] who believe in the unseen, observe the Contact Prayers (Salat), and from our provisions to them, they give to charity.
  • [2:4] And they believe in what was revealed to you, and in what was revealed before you, and with regard to the Hereafter, they are absolutely certain.
  • [2:5] These are guided by their Lord; these are the winners.
  • [2:6] As for those who disbelieve, it is the same for them; whether you warn them, or not warn them, they cannot believe.
  • [2:7] GOD seals their minds and their hearing, and their eyes are veiled. They have incurred severe retribution.
  • [2:8] Then there are those who say, "We believe in GOD and the Last Day," while they are not believers.
  • [2:9] In trying to deceive GOD and those who believe, they only deceive themselves without perceiving.
  • [2:10] In their minds there is a disease. Consequently, GOD augments their disease. They have incurred a painful retribution for their lying.
  • [2:11] When they are told, "Do not commit evil," they say, "But we are righteous."
  • [2:12] In fact, they are evildoers, but they do not perceive.
  • [2:13] When they are told, "Believe like the people who believed," they say, "Shall we believe like the fools who believed?" In fact, it is they who are fools, but they do not know.
  • [2:14] When they meet the believers, they say, "We believe," but when alone with their devils, they say, "We are with you; we were only mocking."

oops. the very nice human-friendly religion is turning nasty in a very early stage..... The hate of the "disbelievers" comes before everything else. Before the moon, the sub, the spring, the winter, the flowers, the frogs, the birds, the agriculture, the sky, the women. The quran is obsessed with inciting against the "disbelievers", regardless of their race.
From surah 2 and on, the text is a manifest of hate.

I am not a religious person at all. I find all religions ridiculous and stupid. But Islam I find first of all to be violent and dangerous, and ridiculous+stupid in 2nd place. Unfortunately, the reality and the news reconfirms my view on Islam each and every day again and again
